[edit] Professional and Academic

I grew up in Pipestone, MN, where I graduated from Pipestone Area High School in 2003. While in Pipestone, I had the chance to work in the PAS Technology Department as a student assistant. This experience helped foster a love of technology and technical thinking.

I received my undergraduate degree in mathematics and physics from the University of South Dakota in the spring of 2007.

My current CV is found here: Image:Mkj-cv.pdf.

My senior undergraduate thesis, entitled "Divisibility in A+xB[x] GCD Domains" is available here: Image:Mkjthesis-final.pdf.

I joined the UNL Mathematics community in the Summer of 2007 with participation in the Nebraska IMMERSE program. I spent my first year as a graduate student in the UNL Mathematics Department in the 2007-2008 academic year as an MCTP First-Year Graduate Trainee. Having completed my first year and qualifying for the Ph.D program, I am now seeking an advisor! Hurray!
